ESA SKATE EXTREME

The Eastbourne Skate festival is going to be held on the 17th-18th of July 2010. The skate festival is organised and run by the ESA. We pride ourselves in providing a skating festival where everyone can take part, including non skaters. Whether it is in the skate lessons, skate basketball, skate limbo, skate high jump street dance, there will be something for you!!

Saturday night is party night at the Uks only outdoor Redoubt Fortress skate disco. The two tier roller disco held in an actual fortress includes the very popular bar and BBQ. So dont miss out on a spectacular night ! Tickets can be purchased on the day!

NEW 2010- "BATTLE EXTREME"

Eastbourne skate Extreme will now form part of the Uks official "Battle slalom Competition". The event attracts some of the top freestyle slalom skaters from all over the UK and Europe. The "Battle Extreme" competition will form 1 of the 4 Uks official slalom championship events.

NEW 2010- " SLALOM TRICK LADDER"

A new event to Eastbourne Extreme is the Slalom "Trick ladder" competition where skaters of all abilities are encouraged to compete against each other by carrying out specific slalom moves. A list of slalom moves including video footage (to enable skaters to lean the moves) will be made available soon.

FORTRESS SKATE JAM / DISCO

The ever popular Saturday Fortress Skate disco is back for the Skate Extreme 09. Once again we aim to open both levels to the skaters. This is a fantastic evening not to be missed. The party starts as soon as the street skate finishes on Saturday evening.Food and drink is also available. * £2 with ESA card memberhship or £3 for Children & £4 for Adult .

SKATE BASKETBALL Tournament

Get involved in the skate basketball tournament by entering or joining a team. This is a hotly contested event which is great fun for spectators and competitors.

STREET SKATE

Eastbourne promenade/street skate will start and finish at the Fortress. Please support the street skate!! If we can increase the numbers we may be able to have a full street skate through Eastbourne next year!!!

STREET HOCKEY

The festival will once again hosting a have a go session at street hockey. This is a chance for you to get involved in the festival by playing other amateur teams from across the UK.

AGGRESSIVE PARK

We are still awaiting the new skate park. Until then we will be organising demos and competitions for the bikers and skate boarders.

OTHER EVENTS

Other events will of course inlcude the popular skate basketball tournament, street hockey, speed slalom, hockey,tug of war, skate limbo and much more!!
